Sunday, 10/5: New Sunday Morning Schedule begins with Christian Formation for All:

     8:00am Holy Eucharist

     9:00-9:45am Adult Forum

     9:10-10:10am Church School (pre-K through grade 5) and Journey to Adulthood (Grades 6-High School)

     9:45-10:20am Coffee Hour Hospitality

     9:45am Choir Rehearsal

     10:30am Holy Eucharist with music and choir  

Church School Registration for Children and Youth (Grade 6 through High School) continues:

Our expanded Christian Formation program will begin October 5th with open forums for children, youth , and their parents (led by Marge Herbert) and for adults (led by Dave Herbert with our Seminarian Melinda Hall) that morning. We need to have registrations in hand for all children and youth of the parish in order to appropriately staff and prepare for our classes. Come learn about our programs and give us your hope for them. Think about how you can participate. First day of classes and the adult forum will be Sunday, October 12th.  

Autumn Flea Market set for Saturday, October 4th, 9am-2pm. Aline Boutin and Jonathan Hughes are coordinating. Kathy Murray is running our hot dog stand (youth volunteers are needed). Peg Mosher is coordinating the baked goods table (baked good are needed!). They all need your help! Proceeds will help support youth activities. Bring your "fleas" to the rectory garage. Set-up will begin 6am Saturday.  

Basket Auction, October 25th, 6-9pm. Please plan on joining us for a wonderful evening. Tickets are $10 and include 10 chances and dessert. For donations, please contact Lorraine Gower, Joann MacRae, or Kathy Murray.  

Rev.Jane will be attending a CREDO Conference for Episcopal Clergy at Soloman Conference Center, Loranger LA (9/27-10/7). Next Sunday please welcome the Rev. Richard Cromwell, who will preach and celebrate both services. Rev.Rick is a graduate of Drew University and the Philadelphia Divinity School. He is a licensed professional counselor with 26 years of experience working with addicts. He retired from Somerset County jail and currently volunteers at Middlesex County Jail. He served as Interim Rector at St.Paul's (Rahwah), St.Peter's at the Light, Epiphany (Ventnor), and Grace (Merchantville).  

Wednesday, October 1: Melinda Hall leads Evening Prayer or Compline, 7pm.

Sunday, 9/7: Holy Eucharist 8 & 9:30 a.m. Choir returns. Guest organist: William Gotmer. Our special preacher for both services will be Canon Kep Short, Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of New Jersey since 2003. His ministry is supporting congregations in their development of programs for youth and also coordinating diocesan youth programs. Co-chairs of Diocesan Youth Council will be with him. All are invited to stay following the 9:30 service to learn about the importance and excitement of youth ministry and how we might benefit from successful programs of our Diocese. Organizational meeting for youth and those interested in working with our youth follows Kep’s presentation. We need your participation!  

Tuesday, 9/9: Tuesday’s Child Board, 7 p.m.  

Wednesday, 9/10: Holy Eucharist, 7 p.m. (and subsequent Wednesday evenings)  

Thursday, 9/11: Men’s Group Regathering, 7:00 p.m. All men of the parish are invited. Rectory porch; pizza and dessert provided. RSVP to Church Office or to Bill Shorman, (609) 839-3378/668-3515 by 9/10. Choir practice, 7:30 p.m.  

Saturday, 9/13: Vestry Retreat at St. Francis House of Prayer  

Sunday, 9/14: Invite-A-Friend/Back to the Pews Sunday: ONE Service of Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m., followed by breakfast, church school/youth group registration, information on parish activities. Child care provided. Invitations for you to give/mail to your friends are available in the back of church or call the Church Office by 9/9 to have invitations sent in your name.  

Monday, 9/15: Vestry Meeting, 7 p.m.

Sunday, 9/21: Holy Eucharist at 8 & 9:30 a.m. Meeting of Godly Play and Church School teachers, following 9:30 a.m. service.  

Sunday, 9/28: Holy Eucharist at 8 & 9:30 a.m. Blessing of Animals (outside under tent) during 9:30 a.m. service. All are welcome. Please have dogs on leash; cats and other animals in carriers.  

Saturday, 10/25: Basket Auction/Fundraiser, 6-9 p.m. Mark your calendars! Help us with gathering gifts (new items/services, minimum value $25). Further information and to help/donate: contact Lorraine Gower, Kathy Murray, Joann MacRae, co-chairs.  

Rector's Office Hours: Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to noon.  

We need your help! We are currently providing food for 4 to 6 families in a week. Our supplies are very low. We are in need of non-perishable food for the food pantry. We need mostly canned goods: coffee, soups, tuna, spaghetti, and vegetables.
