JOINING THE PARISH

Making the decision to join a parish family can be a big step.  At Grace Church we hope to make you feel welcome and to help you to get to know us.  If you then decide that this is where you want to worship on a regular basis, we welcome you to join our parish.

If you are already a member of the Episcopal Church, you are asked to have a Letter of Transfer sent from your previous parish.  You will also be asked to present information regarding you and members of your family (if applicable) concerning your baptism, confirmation and other important dates.

If you are not currently a member of the Episcopal Church, you are invited to join the parish without having to make that decision.  You will be asked to supply information about previous church membership and important dates. If you become interested in becoming an Episcopalian, please speak to the Rector.  Classes are offered to introduce people to the Episcopal Church.  At the time of Confirmation, you will have the opportunity to formally join the Episcopal Church.

Mailboxes are provided for each member family at the back of the church.  While they are primarily in alphabetical order, new members will be assigned to a box that is empty at the time that they arrive.  These boxes are used to distribute flyers and other important information about the parish.  They may also be used by members to communicate with other families.
