Michael Ryan presents an organ recital and talk on Grace Church's historic Holtkamp pipe organ in the Grace Church sanctuary. His program includes works of J.S. Bach (Prelude and Fugue in A Minor BWV 543 and Trio Sonata I in E Flat, BWV 525), Louis Vierne (Adagio from Symphonie 3), and Antonio Vivaldi (Concerto in D Minor, arr. by J.S. Bach BWV 596). Grace Church organist since 2015 and a student of Matthew Lewis, Michael is a rising senior at Westminster Choir College and recent winner of the Russell and Ruth Young Award for his organ composition "Toccata, Adagio, and Fugue." This is a perfect opportunity to hear this brilliant young organist. A free-will offering will benefit the Grace Church organ restoration fund.
